Introduction
BoxFox is a cardboard recycling company that aims to simplify the process of recycling for its customers. With a focus on convenience and eco-friendliness, BoxFox offers a unique service that allows customers to have their cardboard boxes picked up from their homes, reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. The company's website plays a crucial role in communicating this service to potential customers, and as such, it must be designed with simplicity and ease-of-use in mind.
Here is how we approached creating a landing page that effectively communicates the benefits of BoxFox's service to its target audience, resulting in increased user engagement and satisfaction.
Branding
Before we could begin working on the website, we first needed to create a memorable and impactful brand that conveyed their mission effectively.
BoxFox has a relatively simple value proposition: If you pay for their service, BoxFox will provide a container for you to put your never ending pile of cardboard in, and will periodically come pick up the boxes for recycling.
Focusing on their mission, we went through a bunch of different styles that we felt correctly communicated a friendly, helpful, and simple service. Here are just a few different ideas our team considered:



After weighing the different options, and consulting with the client, we felt the third option was the best option.
We then created a full style guide including fonts, colors, voice, audience, mission, and more.

Now that we had some great branding assets and a clear direction, we moved forward with designing the new landing page.
We wanted to prioritize simplicity, so we separated the different parts of Box Fox’s service into different sections on the site.
BoxFox reduces clutter from building up in your home by providing a dedicated place for unneeded cardboard boxes.
Pickup only when you need it. Using the web-app, you can quickly select a pick-up time that best works for you when your bin is full.
Spacious bins allow customers to fit even the biggest boxes, and reduce the frequency of pickups.

Analyzing BoxFox’s goals as a company allowed us to clearly communicate the consumer value for their customers, and allowed us to deliver an impactful website that they can enjoy for years to come.
